You scored as Hannibal Lecter. You are Hannibal Lecter. You dont need to eat human flesh to live, but do so because it just taste good. You are very intelligent, and enjoy using it to your advantage to keep people guessing. You arent a killing machine, but when you do decide to let loose, watch out! Dinner is served, with some fava beans, and a nice chianti!

Sweet! [Jul. 13th, 2006|11:16 pm]
5th Year Resident
You scored 75 Skills and 75 Knowledge!
wow, you're about even, I peg you to be a C student. Well a C might be passing to you, but in medical that don't mean CUTE. It means, that don't Cut it. You need to buckle down, and do better, study a lil harder, and get over your party habits. You're a grown person now, and you really need to act it, not like you really care, but ya know, it's kinda like act your age and not your IQ. I see that one pissed ya off, get over it, your bedside manner sucks, and if you ever mix the drugs up again, I'll kick your ass personally! Get back to the books, and study.

My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

I did better than most people my age, though I'm a slightly better law student; but a solid C Doctor is still a Doctor.

MMm...ICFA [Mar. 20th, 2006|11:13 pm]
Oh my, my spring break has started out swimmingly! I went to Fort Lauderdale for the International Conference on the Fantastic in the Arts. The only bad thing is that I slept through a class the Thursday before last so I couldn't skip it last Wednesday, which would of meant I could have made it to Fort Laud Wednesday noon instead of Wednesday Midnight. My trip took 8-9 hours from Gulfport to Saint Aug to Fort Laud (had to get Sami and drop off my kitten at Melinda's).

The amount of people I got to meet; Charles Vess, Peter Straub again, an amazing archaelogist who has traversed civil war jungle on foot with only a pack, slews of professors. I got to see Jude and Sami after a year of not, which was the greatest thing in the world :). Got to see again the friends I made last year there, including an adorable couple who teach in New York. Made new friends including a rather reserved Englishman and a quite active Irishman.

Drank a Guiness every hour on the hour from when I got up to when I laid down on Saint Patty's day (not including everything else I drank).

Saw some of the most impressive academic minds and realized what I am missing at my school; being challenged on an intellectual level.

Realized that on top of international trade, I can also do publishing law and become a literary agent or a visual art's agent and then always be around the most interesting people to me.

Life is good, good indeed.

Ugg [Mar. 6th, 2006|12:18 am]
Crash got best picture and best screen play for the screen. That tells me that every other movie must have sucked terribly. I never felt so much as being punched in the face as I did by Crash; constantly I felt the lash of the movie message. They really should show that movie to Guantanomo Bay Interrogators so they know how to inflict mental harm upon another human being. There were parts in it that I was pretty certain I wanted to die than to finish the movie. On top of all that, it was cumbersome and boring. At least Reese Witherspoon won as Best Female lead for Walk the Line.

Yay for Southern Democrats [Feb. 13th, 2006|06:55 pm]
Thanks to the good people at the Blue Dog Democrats site, yay for Southern Moderate Democrats. They pointed me towards Mark Warner, and the more I think about it, the more interesting he becomes.

Unless my party can cough up a great canditate, ::sigh:: I may have to vote Democrat.

Unless, The Democrats decide to shoot themselves in the foot and grab someone else with terrible charisma, a host of issues, and a long list of peple that hate them.

Since Kennedy, (now going close to 50 years), the only Democrats that have one the Presidency have been Southern. Why? because they keep the normal democratic agenda but also tend to have identifiable conservative values of some sort or another.

But alas, this was the party that with two "sure things"

2000- It's really hard traditionally for a party to lose a presidential run after a successful Eight year term.

Unless you have a robot for President

2004- The decifit is highest ever, a hugely unpopular war, a Christian right winger in the office, chunks of the party are defecting, economy in the toilet, scandals all around

H.W. Bush lost with less, Carter lost with less, Johnson lost with less

The Democrats somehow parade the worse choices and tried to ram them down the moderates throats. Really, even a yellow dog would have had my vote faster than John Kerry.

yay for paradigms [Feb. 11th, 2006|10:16 pm]
You scored as Spiritualist. You are a Spiritualist. You are most at home in the subtle realms of existence, and since you can't be there all the time, you communicate with spirits regularly to keep at least one foot on higher planes. As you progress, more and more of your interaction is based on planes other than the physical, and while this can draw strange glances from those who overhear, for the most part you are able to blend in and go unnoticed. It's a shame, really, because you have depths therefore unseen by your peers.

Woot [Jan. 16th, 2006|10:26 pm]
Had orientation last week. It was boring yet amazing, I can not begin to comment on how happy I am right now about finally starting school. I also have finalized my move to Gulfport by watching the sunset over the gulf- I really can't think of something more important to do. I love Saint Pete, I love Tampa Bay- 3 am last calls, huge art events, great concerts, everything I really can hope for. And then I can come home to my kitten- Gaa..I never thought I would love an animal- but I can't imagine loving anything else more. School starts tomorrow-rather a bit rusty, but I know it will be ok, I've fought to hard to let it not be. Its my birthday and I celebrated by having one beer and going back to study. I am happier now than I have been in such a long time.

New Years resolution [Jan. 2nd, 2006|04:34 am]
I hate New Years resolutions and I refuse to do them as they are never fufilled. It seems week making a vow like that just to break it a few weeks later, so instead, I skip the middle man and don't do the vow.

Yet, this is so interesting, I had to put it up

In the year 2006 I resolve to:

Make more enemies than friends.

oh Ben Weasel, you make me happy [Dec. 29th, 2005|07:22 pm]
"Not that I see any real evidence for this alleged war on Christmas anyway, but to the extent that Christmas language has been homogenized, I can't say I feel too bad for that whiny minority of Christians dragging their bizarre persecution complexes around like a ball and chain. After all, a big part of their complaint is that inoffensive, euphemistic language has made a mockery of the Christmas season. Sheesh, welcome to my world. Inoffensive, euphemistic language has been ruining television and radio for me since I was about eight years old. Until I can watch Goodfellas uncensored on ABC or see the occasional female breast on network TV I'm not likely to get all up in arms about holiday trees and generic presidential greeting cards. I don't know what made these goofs think they could screw around with controlling speech and not have it come around to bite them in the ass, but all I have to say to them is "Happy Holidays."
"

hahahaha, thats good stuff

Bleh and coldness [Oct. 26th, 2005|12:26 pm]
I don't care what any yanqui says, its cold outside damn it, especially at 6:30 when I was called in to work because some warehouse jackass didn't send an email telling us that the delivery truck would be coming today. Oh it was precious- as soon as I leave my house, the crossing lights up; but a train does not go through; but actually just stops at the crossing for five minutes with people hopping out and checking around. All I could think was damn...they couldn't do this about five feet over so the cars go could through? Bleh.

I"m prob gonna work Halloween night and I still have no idea what to have for a costume, any ideas?

Yay for Cyn's birthday! yay!

Yay for Jesse and Sarah on having a phone and interconnection, yay!

NIN [Oct. 22nd, 2005|11:46 am]
Gaa...so great yet sort of a let down but then not but yet proving my theory that I have an aura of wierd luck.

Never been to Jax Arena, luckily my coworker Mike is also going, so just have to get to girl's house on Emerson.

I-95 from Saint Augustine to Jacksonville

Only make it twenty-four miles before the entire NB path is closed due to an accident.
45 minutes of bumper to bumper traffic until the exit for Saint Augustine road and back to US 1 appears.

US 1 going north, get past the Avenues and its light; get past the 20 plex movie theater; its black as night and rain is coming sideways.

These are the storms I live for; when I'm not in a car going to an event I have waited over a year to see.

Mike is now coming south on US 1 to try to meet up
US 1 NB is blocked by an accident next to a kangaroo gas station which incidently; was the only gas station I knew of this far north on US 1 because my friend Erin and her boyfriend and I stopped there after seeing a movie.

It is raining so hard, it is so dark and each path seems to be blocked by accidents; 16 accidents happened in less than an hour period.

A side path is presented and Mike is leading this weary two car caravan. the streets are flooded past the curbs; but the caravan makes it to the house.

It is now raining so hard and the storm is so bad that the lights are going in and out; the concert progresses though; I really didn't want to see 1979 or Queens that much.

Finally the storm abates enough to be able to get to the concert. Nicely, Mike knows one of the bartenders and we get the hook up.

Two glasses of jim beam and a glass of gin-tonic and 15 minutes have passed, NIN comes on.

The floor is great but I'm worried that it will become a mad house.

Trent is shaved, oddly, most of the people in front of me are rather short so I don't have to work to hard to see.

I go into the pit a few times, it is nice and not that bad

The floor stays pretty passive. the show is good; everyone sings along.
All in all, it was great and rather muted, almost bleh good. I can now say I have seen NIN- now I have to see Tool and KMFDM. But they aren't touring for a while if at all. For now, I will have to console myself with Bauhaus, Static X, and Mudvayne

(no subject) [Oct. 14th, 2005|11:51 am]
You are Agonistic

You're not sure if God exists, and you don't care.
For you, there's no true way to figure out the divine.
You rather focus on what you can control - your own life.
And you tend to resent when others "sell" religion to you.

You Should Learn French

C'est super! You appreciate the finer things in life... wine, art, cheese, love affairs.
You are definitely a Parisian at heart. You just need your tongue to catch up...

Yeah, Agnostic works I guess, but I'm really more of a Upbeat Nhilist; I don't really care, because nothing really matters but at least I can be happy about it.

French for art, culture and philosophy? I'd rather learn Czech for Art; Austrian for Culture; and Latin for philosophy. Francois is nice; but its so much farther down my list of languages to learn; I think right before Russian but after Romanian.
